The 8th Annual Molecular Psychiatry Meeting taking place September 24 -26, 2020 in Maui has been cancelled.
In response to the rapidly changing circumstances associated with the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Molecular Psychiatry Association’s Organizing Board has made the decision to cancel the 8th Annual Meeting scheduled to take place September 24 – 26, 2020 in Maui, Hawaii. In doing so, the Board carefully weighed the risks to attendees and their families, colleagues, and patients. MPA feels strongly that cancelling the conference is the responsible action to take. The health and safety of the attendees are its top priority.
All submitted science will remain on file and will be reviewed for the 2021 meeting.
All that is needed is the symposium title, a brief description of the symposium and a list of presenters.
There is limited space; therefore, all submissions received will be reviewed by the Organizing Board and notifications of acceptance will be sent by email.
Symposia are two hours in length. Each symposium must have a chair and a co-chair. There is no requirement for the number of speakers, although each symposium typically has 4 speakers. The chair may participate as a speaker, but it is not required.
Symposia proposals should have a molecular focus, and will be assessed for the topic (relevance and interest to the molecular psychiatry field), caliber and diversity of speakers (institution, career stage, gender), and originality (topic/speakers have not presented frequently at previous MPA and other conferences).
If you have any questions, please email the MPA Executive Office at info@molecularpsychiatry.net.
