The Molecular Psychiatry Association (MPA) was founded in 2013 to promote research and communication of research findings across varying approaches (e.g. neurobiology, genetics, systems biology, novel drug development) to obtain a better understanding of the molecular basis of psychiatric disorders. The biennial Molecular Psychiatry meeting is open to all professionals in the field, and has become known for stellar scientific talks by top researchers in the field. By bringing together investigators using varied molecular approaches, the meeting provides an excellent opportunity for cross-fertilization and collaboration.
